Dr. Kenyae Reese
Greetings and welcome to Head Magnet Middle School! The home of the Tigers!
Head Magnet is ranked among the top middle schools in MNPS according to US News and World Report, and we have been named a Rewards School many times over.
We are the only school to offer a direct pathway to MLK Jr. Academic Magnet School after the 6th and 8th grade. We are thrilled to have been awarded STEAM designation by the state of TN.
We offer a challenging and balanced curriculum through honors courses across disciplines, and a vast number of related arts, athletics, clubs, and student organizations for student enjoyment.
The majority of our faculty have advanced degrees and our PTSA was voted a Top PTSA by the state of Tennessee.
We achieve greatness by helping our students master the demands of academic rigor while engaging in a personalized learning environment where inquiry, innovation, and problem-solving are encouraged. Our students should expect plenty of homework and projects, along with tons of fun, laughter, and memorable moments!
